Sponsorships

Sponsorships are many and varied, but what you are buying is the right to associate your business name with an on-air feature for a period of time.  

The features usually have a premium level of interest and therefore a stronger listener-ship.

As a sponsor you will receive an 'intro credit', or a message that plays in front of the feature.  

These are 15 seconds in length and sponsors can run in equal rotate up to 6 messages.  

Below we have listed the sponsorship's available and the cost associated with being a full or part sponsor of the feature

News & Sport

The big Kahuna - the most listened to event on the radio station is News & Sport.  

Allows for a 15 sec 'intro credit' prior to either the News or Sport bulletin.

After 5pm the Sports credit immediately follows the sports news.

News & Sport plays top of every hour and on the half hour at 6.30, 7.30 & 8.30 Monday to Friday. Sold as a whole or in thirds - Minimum period 13 weeks.  

Customers also receive six directional trailers (or 2 per third sponsor) through-out the day that support your sponsorship

Info Features, Business, Rural, Health & Politics

Sponsors also receive three directional trailers per day (monday - friday) to support the sponsorship. For example 

"Tune in to the XYZ Business Rural report every weekday at 9.30am and 4.30pm on Capital FM, thanks to XYZ Business Jellicoe Street, Te Puke."​

Feature Sponsorship

$40 per Month

Weather 

Includes Weather Intro sponsor credit

On Capital FM the Weather plays at the top of the hour immediately following the Sports News between 6am and 5pm That's equates to 77 plays per week for each report. Weather has a 15 sec 'intro credit'.  Sold on 3 month minimum term

Community Noticeboard

 

A service for all clubs, associations, schools etc to use to communicate their messages to the wider community.  

They play 12 times per day and are at the heart of our community.
